Q and A with Pilates Instructor Maly Polotto!

Where are you from ?

My name is Maly Polotto and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

How long have you been teaching Pilates ?

I’ve been teaching Pilates for 16 years and I discovered Pilates in my local gym and did my introductory training with the great Diana Bustamente. When I moved to Dublin in 2018 I completed my comprehensive training with Polestar UK.

What is your personal philosophy ?

I believe the most important thing about Pilates is it’s functionality and that it awakens body awareness. So, I would say that one of the most important aspects of my teaching style is getting people to know and understand their own bodies.

If you won 1000€ what would you do with it ?

When I’m not teaching Pilates I love to travel and next on my list is a trip to China or Australia! I also love to practise aerial skills and hang out with my boyfriend and my dog Robin. (Robin sometimes joins me for my classes !)

Join me in Studio on Monday and Tuesday evenings for Studio Duo and Reformer Classes.

Or, bright and early at 7.30am on Friday morning via Zoom.

Also in Studio on Saturday mornings from 8.30am teaching group Reformer and Zoom Mat Classes.
